Job summary

Royal Terberg Group seeks a Circularity & Sustainability Project Manager to accelerate the group’s sustainability agenda with a focus on circularity, sustainable manufacturing and value chain initiatives.

You will translate ambitions into practical programmes across products, materials, production, services and governance, while balancing group-wide direction with local ownership and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

• A relevant master’s degree, preferably in engineering, industrial engineering, sustainability, environmental sciences or a comparable field.
• Approximately 7 to 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Background in strategy, sustainability, operations or transformation consulting.
• Experience with manufacturing, automotive, mobility or other industrial organizations.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of circularity, sustainability strategies, ESG frameworks and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of CSRD and ESRS, including translating requirements into workable processes.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with sustainability data and reporting.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, mainly within Europe.
• Experience in both consulting and an engineering/manufacturing organization is an advantage; Dutch language skills are also an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the circularity agenda across the Group.
• Lead sustainability projects within the Group’s roadmap and governance structures.
• Coordinate data collection, validation and consolidation for ESG reporting.
• Create alignment across Finance, Legal, HR and Procurement and balance Group-wide vs local ownership.
• Monitor developments in sustainability regulations and translate into practical guidance.
