HVAC Service Technician / Field Service Engineer role in Dordrecht, Netherlands, joining an international HVAC manufacturer’s service team. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment on customer sites.

Key responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, on-site support, and documenting service reports while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC Technician with service, maintenance and fault diagnosis experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of ventilation systems, AHUs, motors and controls.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Dutch language skills; willing to develop further.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsabilités

About the Role

We are working with a leading international manufacturer of HVAC and ventilation solutions looking to expand its technical service team in Belgium.

This is an excellent position for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting and working directly with customers.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC equipment across customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control-related faults.
• Service and maintain air handling units (AHUs), ventilation systems, fans, motors and associated equipment.
• Perform inspections, functional testing and technical troubleshooting.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective, long-term solutions.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HVAC Technician, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician or similar.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of ventilation systems, air handling units, motors and control systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage service activities at customer sites.
