Job summary

Victron Energy B.V. is seeking a Product Design Engineer to strengthen the HS19 team, developing the next generation of high‑voltage 3‑phase battery charger/inverter systems and improving current products.

You will coordinate changes, update BoMs, schematics, and manuals, and act as primary contact for factory questions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electronics and Electrical engineering, has power electronics experience, is hands‑on, structured, and fluent in English, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Electrical engineering.
Relevant working experience in the field of (power) electronics is a prerequisite.
Structured pragmatic way of working; independent yet cooperative and hands-on.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Experience with PCB layout and schematic drawing software is required.

Responsibilities

Development of new versions in the current product range.
Maintain an overview of the entire product range and set priorities for changes.
Be the first contact for product related questions from the factory.
Check and approve alternative/second-source components.
Coordinate product changes including updates to PCBs, components, mechanics, cables, and stickers.
Update manuals and datasheets to reflect changes and standards.
Implement updates to BoMs, PCB layouts, and schematics.
Prepare change documentation for production implementation.
Verify functionality after changes before field release.
Review field returns and customer complaints and identify solutions.
Serve as main contact for the tester group and provide support as needed.
