Job summary

Victron Energy in Eindhoven designs and develops fast-evolving power electronics for professional energy systems. You will own hardware design from concept to production, creating high-voltage chargers and inverters and collaborating with firmware, testing and production teams worldwide.

The role focuses on continued development of 15 kW products, with plans for 30 kW versions and solar charging solutions, while allowing you to make technical decisions and take ownership of your work.

Qualifications

• have experience with software for PCB layout and electronic schematic design.
• have knowledge of electronics; experience with power electronics is an advantage.
• can assess technical problems carefully and make well-considered decisions.
• enjoy contributing to both product development and production support.
• have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• designing new hardware for high-voltage chargers and inverters;
• creating and reviewing schematics and PCB layouts;
• developing a new high-voltage solar charger;
• improving existing products and solving technical issues;
• supporting production teams with technical questions;
• testing and improving designs before products go into production;
• working closely with firmware developers, testers and production colleagues.
