Job summary

Flink is seeking a Hub Manager (m/f/d) in Tilburg to lead hub operations, drive performance and coach a growing team. You will own the hub’s flow from picking to delivery, ensure safety and compliance, and report to the City Manager alongside other Hub Managers.

You will recruit, onboard and train staff, manage scheduling, and build a culture of ownership and collaboration. English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus. Base pay ranges 38k–42k EUR gross yearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time, correct customer orders and high experience quality.

• Manage scheduling for full team to maintain right coverage.
• Foster a culture of ownership, support, and motivation in the hub.
• Stay hands-on with operation including inbounding.

About the Hub Manager position:

As a Hub Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the hub performance — leading your team, owning your operation, and taking full responsibility for everything that happens within the hub. You live by Flink’s standards and KPI’s: from the efficiency of your picking and delivery operations to the culture on the floor. You make sure every customer gets their order on time and in perfect condition, while building a team that's motivated, capable, and growing!

Job Description

• You own the operational flow of your hub — keeping picking, packing, and delivery running efficiently and to the standard our customers expect;
• You take charge of all Safety and Compliance topics – regarding food hygiene, labour law compliance, and safety aspects;
• You report directly to your City Manager, together with 7-10 other Hub Managers;
• You lead, coach, and develop your Hub leadership team (Shift Leads and Ops Associates+);
• You take full responsibility for the customer experience in your hub, ensuring orders go out correctly and on time, every time;
• You recruit, onboard, and train new pickers and riders, making sure they're set up to work efficiently and safely from day one;
• You manage scheduling for your entire team ensuring the right coverage at the right times without letting operations slip;
• You build a culture within your hub where people feel ownership over their work, support each other, and show up motivated;
• You are hands‑on and stay close to the operation — picking, packing, and inbounding are part of your day too.

Qualifications

• You have at least 3 years of experience in an operational role, with a focus on process optimisation and team management;
• You have experience managing a team, with strong skills in coaching, developing talent, and providing feedback;
• You are data-driven and understand how to translate KPIs into concrete processes;
• You’re comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and efficiency is key;
• You believe that success is a team effort and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve goals;
• You are hands‑on and picking, packing, and inbounding aren’t beneath you;
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus;
• You are available to work full‑time.

Additional Information

For this role as a Hub Manager (m/f/d), the starting remuneration is as follows:

The base pay for this position is 38,000 EUR - 42,000 EUR gross annually for full‑time (40 hours per week) for managing 1 hub.
