Job description

About the role

Behind every great employee experience is a well-organized HR team. At Nexperia, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Administrator & Payroll Support Specialist who thrives on accuracy, enjoys details, and takes pride in keeping HR operations running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for an HR admin/payroll professional who enjoys a broad role. One moment you are answering employee questions, preparing employment documentation, or ensuring HR records are up to date; the next, you are supporting payroll activities, or identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, enjoys operational HR work, and wants to make a real impact within a dynamic international semiconductor company.

What you will do

As a key member of the HR team, you will play an important role in supporting employees, managers, and HR colleagues across the employee lifecycle. Your role will combine HR administration, first-line employee support and payroll support.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Managing all HR administrative processes from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems and ensuring excellent data quality.
  • Providing first-line support to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, systems, and employment-related questions.
  • Supporting monthly payroll preparation, validation, and administration activities.
  • Processing personnel changes, absence records, benefits-related administration, and payroll inputs.
  • Supporting reporting activities and maintaining HR and payroll documentation.
  • Acting as a key user of HR systems and helping employees navigate self-service tools.
  • Partnering with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
  • An Human Resource Management MBO Level 4 diploma, HBO Associate Degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably 6-8 years of experience in HR administration, payroll support, HR operations, or a similar HR role.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • A highly accurate, structured, and detail-oriented working style.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support wherever needed.
  • Experience working with HR systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to translate ideas into practical process improvements.
Why work for Nexperia

At Nexperia, you will join a collaborative and international environment where operational excellence and continuous improvement are highly valued. You will become part of a close-knit HR team that supports the business while continuously improving the employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible contribution every day, combining HR administration, payroll support, employee service, and process improvement in one varied and meaningful position.
