Job summary

Generator Amsterdam is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas and laundry. You will oversee daily operations, ensure stock and equipment readiness, and uphold high standards in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in housekeeping, strong leadership, and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organisations.
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping manager in overseeing the team and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor the supervision of effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient room stock is available to meet business demands.
• To ensure that the Hotels housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to.
• Have a good understanding of our guests needs and give your team members direction to fulfil these needs in a fast and effective way.
• Complete any required administrative functions as instructed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Display a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to work in order to inspire and motivate the members of the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supportive working environment to work within.
• Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH.
