Job summary

Hotelprofessionals - NH Amsterdam Zuid in Amsterdam zoekt een Housekeeping Floor Supervisor (m/v/d) die een team van kamermeisjes aanstuurt en de kwaliteit van de hotelomgeving bewaakt volgens beleid en hygiënevoorschriften.

Je werkt dagelijks aan planning, coördinatie met Front Office en handover bij dienstbeëindiging. Vereiste: vloeiend Engels; tweede taal is een plus; ervaring in teamleiding in housekeeping. Trainingen en bonussen zijn beschikbaar.

Qualifications

• Leiding geven aan een team in de housekeeping-afdeling.
• Engels mondeling en schriftelijk vloeiend; een tweede taal is een voordeel.
• Ervaring met toezicht op schoonmaakwerkzaamheden.
• Zien gasten verwachtingen en hiernaar handelen.

Responsibilities

• Toezicht houden op kamermeisjes en zorgen voor kwaliteit.
• Coördineren met Front Office en andere afdelingen.
• Zorgen voor naleving van hygiëne- en bedrijfsstandaarden.
• Overdragen van dagelijkse taken aan team bij einde dienst.

As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor (f/m/d) you are responsible for supervising a team of room attendants and ensuring that the quality of the hotel is maintained and enhanced according to hotel policies, industry regulations, and hygiene standards.

What are you going to do?

9:45After a cup of coffee or tea, you are ready to start your day at the Housekeeping Department.
10:00 Whilst checking the rooms you also have a brief with your collogues with some last-minute changes regarding the rooms to be cleaned. One room wants an extra bed, another room stays a day longer, and a third room wants extra towels.
12:00Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
15:30Still some rooms are pending to be checked and to see if they meet the quality standards we set.
17:50You make sure everything is done and give a short handover to Front Office.
18:00Time to go home!
