Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in cable glanding, termination, and electrical diagnostic tools.
• Reading isometric drawings and electrical diagrams is essential.
• Conversational English proficiency is mandatory; ability to understand and communicate technical and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and test heat tracing cables on pipelines, tanks, and vessels.
• Perform cable terminations, junction boxes, thermostats, and distribution panels.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation testing (Megger, insulation resistance) for safety.

Position Overview

IT Solutions Hub 2010 Pvt Ltd is hiring an experienced and hands-on Heat Tracing Mechanic (Monteur Heat Tracing) from Pakistan for an overseas job opportunity in the Netherlands. This role is ideal for a dedicated Industrial Electrician, E&I Technician, or specialized Heat Tracing Fitter seeking to apply their expertise in major industrial environments, such as petrochemical plants, refineries, and power generation facilities.

In this position, you will be responsible for the physical installation, connection, and testing of electrical trace heating cables on pipelines, tanks, and critical vessels to ensure temperature maintenance and freeze protection.

What You'll Do

• 01 Cable Installation: Accurately measure, cut, route, and secure electrical heat tracing cables along complex industrial piping systems, valves, and vessels.
• 02 Electrical Terminations: Perform high-quality electrical terminations, including the installation and connection of junction boxes, thermostats, power distribution panels, and end seals.
• 03 System Testing: Conduct rigorous pre-installation and post-installation electrical testing (such as Megger / insulation resistance testing) to verify the integrity and safety of heating cables.
• 04 Blueprint Reading: Read and accurately interpret technical documents, including isometric piping drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics to execute installations correctly.
• 05 Cross-Trade Coordination: Work closely with thermal insulation technicians (laggers) to ensure that the installed heat tracing is properly covered and protected without suffering damage.
• 06 Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to European industrial safety regulations (such as VCA standards) and site-specific permit-to-work procedures in hazardous environments.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience as an Industrial Electrician, E&I Technician, or specifically as a Heat Tracing Mechanic in heavy industrial sectors (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in cable glanding, termination, and the use of electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, insulation testers).
• Drawing Literacy: High competence in reading isometric drawings and electrical diagrams.
• English Language Skills: Conversational English proficiency is mandatory; ability to understand, speak, and communicate technical and safety instructions clearly.
• Work Ethic: Practical, hard-working, highly safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in demanding field conditions (both independently and within a team).
• Applicant Eligibility: Open exclusively to candidates currently residing in Pakistan who are ready to relocate to the Netherlands.
