Job summary

UPS Nederland seeks a District Health & Safety Specialist to manage, analyze, and report H&S data and processes across the Netherlands. You will perform data processing, analysis, queries and audits, supporting teams in implementing H&S strategies and facilitating risk assessments.

You will collaborate with employee representatives and management to identify and mitigate current and future risks, while staying informed on H&S technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level HBO education in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in safety or operations.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize and analyze Health & Safety data for continuous improvement across operations.
• Generate and distribute reports on injuries, incidents and safety metrics for leadership.
• Monitor compliance metrics to ensure audit readiness and regulatory adherence.
• Review incident reports and ensure accurate documentation and timely corrective actions.
• Support safety training planning, delivery and validation with operational leadership.
• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and reduce risks.
• Assist in data-driven investigations and root cause analyses for incidents.
