Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with knowledge of communication and public outreach.
• Experience in communications consulting, developing plans and public campaigns.
• Ability to present complex content clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public health communication strategies within policy frameworks.
• Advise policymakers on effective communication and citizen involvement.
• Organize participatory activities (citizen panels, meetings, dialogues).
• Coordinate and carry out public awareness campaigns on health topics.
• Write and edit accessible texts for various audiences and channels.
• Manage and update communication channels with the communications department.
• Organize meetings and public events for health education and engagement.
• Identify community needs and translate into communication strategies.
• Collaborate with residents, healthcare institutions, schools, and partners locally and internationally.
• Coordinate messaging with the Public Entity of Bonaire’s communications department.
