Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Project Director for Warehouse Automation & Engineering to lead end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of automation projects across multiple sites. You will collaborate with regional teams, manage budgets, and drive capital projects within a global supply chain context.

The role requires extensive leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• 10+ years in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory control, and leadership.
• 5+ years in a management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project charter and execution plans for warehouse automation projects.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, including capital equipment and external contracting.
• Develop supplier specifications and oversee contract execution.
• Coordinate internal resources and external consultants across multiple sites.
• Prepare progress reports and monitor progress against plans and budgets.
• Assist in capital expenditure project preparation.
• Oversee project completion including construction, inspection, and startup.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
