Job description

Hospitality is one of the ways people discover Marie-Stella-Maris: through the products, fragrances and purpose they encounter in the places they visit. We’re looking for a Head of Hospitality Benelux to shape this channel, build the right partnerships and drive sustainable commercial growth.

You’ll combine strategic direction with a hands-on approach. Alongside leading the hospitality team, you’ll manage a number of key accounts yourself and help build a partner network that reflects the quality and ambition of our brand.

About Marie-Stella-Maris

Marie-Stella-Maris is a renowned lifestyle and beauty brand where design, conscious living and social impact come together. Founded in Amsterdam, we create elevated home and body care essentials that enhance everyday routines while contributing to a greater purpose. Through our products and initiatives, we contribute to clean drinking water projects worldwide.

Driven by creativity, social responsibility and an entrepreneurial spirit, Marie-Stella-Maris moves with intention, refined in execution and committed to making a positive impact through everything we create.

The Position

You’ll develop and implement our hospitality strategy across the Benelux, in close collaboration with the B2B Sales Director. You’ll identify the partners and locations that best fit our brand, from hotels and restaurants to workspaces, sports clubs and water distribution.

You’ll lead the hospitality team and set clear priorities, account plans and commercial goals. At the same time, you’ll own and grow a number of strategic key accounts, building long‑term relationships and partnerships that strengthen both our commercial results and our brand presence.

You’ll also help select and onboard a distributor for the channel, and work closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply and Finance to deliver a consistent partner experience.

What you’ll do
Shape our hospitality strategy
  • Develop and implement the hospitality strategy for the Benelux, together with the Sales Director.

  • Translate the strategy into clear channel plans, account plans, priorities and targets.

  • Build a selective partner network that fits our brand positioning and ambitions.

  • Select and onboard a distributor, setting clear agreements on distribution, brand presentation and commercial goals.

Grow our business and key accounts
  • Develop existing partnerships and bring in new accounts that fit our brand.

  • Manage and grow a number of strategic key accounts, with ownership of the relationship, account plan, negotiations and results.

  • Lead strategic partnerships, tenders and commercial negotiations.

  • Identify collaborations that create new commercial opportunities and strengthen our brand presence.

Bring the brand to life
  • Develop hospitality as a discovery channel for our products, fragrances and social mission.

  • Ensure a consistent, premium brand experience across partner locations.

  • Work with Marketing on activations, training and product introductions that support brand preference and commercial results.

Lead the team and work across the business
  • Lead, coach and develop the hospitality team, with clear roles, account ownership and objectives.

  • Encourage initiative, accountability and a results‑focused approach to account management.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply and Finance to support strong execution and a high‑quality partner experience.

Own commercial performance
  • Set and monitor the commercial budget, revenue and margin forecasts, and sales pipeline.

  • Analyse performance, identify opportunities and risks, and adjust plans when needed.

  • Keep account and funnel management up to date in Salesforce and support effective use of the B2B portal.

  • Report regularly to the Sales Director on results, progress and areas for improvement.

What you bring

You’re a commercially minded leader with a strong feel for brands, partnerships and hospitality. You can set a clear direction, build trust with different stakeholders and turn plans into results. You enjoy developing a team while staying close to key accounts and the opportunities in the market.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • At least eight years of relevant commercial experience in hospitality, B2B or FMCG, preferably with premium consumer products in beauty, lifestyle, design or a related sector.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Commerce, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

  • A track record of developing commercial strategies, strategic partnerships and sustainable revenue growth.

  • Experience managing and growing strategic key accounts, including complex commercial negotiations.

  • Several years of people leadership experience, including responsibility for commercial budgets, revenue and margin.

  • A relevant network in hospitality and/or B2B across the Benelux.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to turn plans into clear actions and measurable results.

  • A strong feel for brands, quality and the role that products and fragrances play in the guest experience.

  • An approachable leadership style that gives direction, encourages ownership and supports people’s development.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.

  • An entrepreneurial, proactive and decisive approach, with a practical, hands‑on mindset.

  • Experience with CRM, pipeline management and B2B e‑commerce. Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • Affinity with the social mission of Marie‑Stella‑Maris and working in an impact‑driven organisation.

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.

  • Willingness to travel across the Benelux.
