Job summary

ONE HUNDRED in Amsterdam Noord seeks a Hardware Reliability Lead to own the reliability and scaling of our hardware ecosystem across Europe. You will drive the design for maintainability and work with component suppliers to reduce failures while ensuring our access gates and connected devices can scale.

This hands-on role requires deep hardware experience, cross-country rollout skills, and a proactive mindset to improve quality, document processes, and train field technicians for independent

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience with physical hardware, electromechanical systems, and connected devices.
• Proven track record of improving hardware quality and reliability.
• Hands-on with tools and ability to diagnose and repair hardware.
• Experience coordinating suppliers or maintenance partners.
• Ability to translate hands-on knowledge into documentation and training.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance and performance reporting.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (~1 weekend/month).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical performance and reliability of all powered hardware across ONEHUNDRED's European locations.
• Set the technical direction and decide where and how we improve.
• Develop the vision for ONE HUNDRED's access gate and other hardware of the future and drive its design toward reliability and maintainability.
• Build, test, and develop our access gates so technicians can install and maintain them independently.
• Ensure the reliability of access gates, connected devices, payment systems and the hardware in our locations.
• Improve hardware quality, reduce defect and failure rates, and manage spare parts and wear components.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with suppliers, manufacturers and technology partners.
• Train technicians and guide them remotely and on-site, and translate hands-on knowledge into SOPs and training.
