Job summary

Florensis Cut Flowers in Rijsenhout (NL) seeks a Head of Cultivation to provide technical direction for all cultivation processes and to take final responsibility for the Cultivation department. You will lead a team of five experienced growers, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery across our broad assortment of young cut‑flower plants.

You will guide structural improvements, balance day‑to‑day needs with long‑term development, and work closely with other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in cultivation and practical horticulture leadership.
• Experience leading skilled professionals and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to make well-founded decisions and maintain project momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultivation team of five growers and organize day-to-day activities.
• Hold technical responsibility for cultivation processes with focus on Lisianthus.
• Manage for results and quality while enabling craftsmanship and autonomy.
• Identify deviations early and make short-cycle adjustments using data and hands-on experience.
• Initiate improvements and trial productions within cultivation and operations.
• Ensure controlled operational management including planning, budgets and investments.
• Collaborate closely with other departments and report to Manager Operations.
