Job summary

Silicon Theatre Scenery BV (STS) is seeking a multidisciplinary Lead Engineer – Mechanical to elevate our engineering department. You will manage the engineering team, oversee project planning, and ensure feasibility and quality across theatre automation projects.

Fluent Dutch and good English are required, along with several years in a similar leadership role and a valid category B driving license. You will bridge design and field execution at our workshop in De Kwakel and on international

Qualifications

• A background in Mechanical Engineering with several years in a similar leadership role.
• Fluent in Dutch and good command of English.
• Valid category B driving license.
• Experience with SolidWorks, CAD systems and simulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the engineering team to deliver mechanical solutions.
• Oversee project planning, feasibility studies, and quality control.
• Ensure drawings align with on-site execution and coordinate external partners.
• Substantiate technical decisions and optimize processes.
• Take ownership to meet deadlines in a fast-paced theatre/industrial environment.
