SPIE Building Solutions seeks a Lead Engineer Werktuigbouwkunde to drive the mechanical design for challenging utiliteits projects in the Netherlands. You will lead the mechanical design from initial sketches to execution, delivering smart, sustainable installations with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as (Lead or Senior) engineer in building services.
• Extra vocational trainings in mechanical engineering.
• Affinity with digitalization and BIM software.
• Assertive attitude and keen eye for detail.
• A team player who connects people and ideas.
• Clear communication, even under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead your engineering and modelling team.
• Involved in all design phases from tender to handover.
• Develop sustainable, integrated mechanical solutions.
• Monitor project schedules and design quality.
• Present clear technical proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical disciplines.
• Develop projects up to €3 million with boldness, overview and precision.
