Job summary

Getinge seeks a Team Lead Hardware (R&D) in Delft, NL. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team spanning mechanical and electrical engineering to deliver integrated, high-quality bioprocessing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hardware engineering experience, preferably in mechanical/electrical product development.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering projects on time and to quality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Experience in regulated environments; CE marking is a plus; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team.
• Support project planning, prioritization, resource allocation, technical decision-making, risk management, and communication.
• Contribute hands-on to mechanical or electrical design work, prototypes, reviews, and problem solving.
• Ensure consistent engineering practices, tools, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Connect mechanical, electrical, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, cost, and customer needs in product development.
• Represent hardware engineering in cross-functional forums with Product Management, Quality, Operations, Service, suppliers and Getinge sites.
• Promote structured product development, robust design practices, and continuous improvement.
