Job summary

AME (Applied Micro Electronics), based in Brainport Eindhoven, seeks a Hardware Engineer to own electronic hardware development and validation across multidisciplinary projects. You’ll design circuits, select components, review PCB layouts and drive production-ready implementation from development to manufacturing.

You’ll work with mechanical, software and industrial engineers, apply simulations and validations, and ensure EMC and reliability targets are met, with ownership and proactive

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• You have at least five years of relevant experience in electronic hardware development.
• You have experience with schematic design and circuit simulation tools; Altium and LTspice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements into electronic circuit designs and schematics.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and industrial engineers to build manufacturable products.
• Provide input for PCB layout and review layouts for functionality and EMC.
• Apply analysis and simulation to assess design performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute validation plans and document results.
• Prepare EMC and environmental testing and coordinate with test laboratories as needed.
• Contribute to product compliance by addressing relevant standards in designs.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues and implement robust solutions.
• Coordinate design reviews and plan activities with clear progress updates.
