Profitap is a Dutch manufacturer of cutting-edge network monitoring solutions. We’re seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to work with a dynamic R&D team on developing the core of our solutions at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

You’ll help design, test, and validate high-performance hardware, collaborating with software and hardware engineers in an internationally oriented, fast-growing company. Hybrid work is offered with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic circuit and PCB design.
• Proficient with Altium Designer.
• Knowledge of EMC and UL is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of digital high-speed design.
• Experience with Ethernet and wired communications.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART and SERDES.
• Embedded system design experience is a plus.
• Experience in testing and validating hardware.
• Hybrid role with at least 3 days in the Eindhoven office.
• Willing to work in an internationally oriented, fast-growing company.

As a Hardware Design Engineer at Profitap, you are involved in every step of our engineering process. Through system design, development, and testing, your work and ideas will directly impact and shape our products.

You will work with a dynamic team of software and hardware engineers in the R&D department. Together with your team, you will be involved in developing the core of our solutions.

Our solutions need highly performant, user-friendly, and designed following the latest technical standards. With over 1,100 clients from over 70 countries, you can work in an international environment and contribute to better network visibility and analytics on all traffic across physical and virtual infrastructures globally.

Job requirements

You’re a perfect match if you have:

• Experience in Electronic circuit and PCB design
• Experience with Altium Designer
• Experience with EMC and UL is a plus
• Good knowledge of digital High-Speed Design
• Experience with Ethernet and wire communications
• Knowledge of Internal buses (SPI, I2C, UART and SERDES)
• Embedded system design is a plus
• Experience in testing and validating hardware
