Job summary

A leading technology company in Eindhoven seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join their R&D team. You will be responsible for system design, development, and testing, impacting innovative network monitoring products. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in modern C++, understanding of GNU/Linux, and good communication skills in English. • Knowledge of modern C++ primitives for multi-threading and concurrency.
• Solid understanding of GNU/Linux system and kernel concepts.
• Experience with Git version control
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Experience with Google Test and Google Mock frameworks for unit testing is a plus
• Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, GitLab, and Debian packaging is a plus

Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Profitap, you are involved in every step of our engineering process. Through system design, development, and testing, your work and ideas will directly impact and shape our products. You will work with a dynamic team of software and hardware engineers in the R&D department. Together with your team, you will be involved in developing the core of our solutions, ranging from new RESTful API business logic to system facilities’ configuration and designing network traffic analysis software components.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of working experience with modern C++ (14/17/20)
• Knowledge of modern C++ primitives for multi-threading and concurrency
• Solid understanding of GNU/Linux system and kernel concepts, tools and libraries
• Experience with Git version control
• Have good written and oral communication skills in English
• Experience with Google Test and Google Mock frameworks for unit testing is a plus
