Job summary

Arvato, an Arvato company, is seeking an hands-on Assistant Supervisor to support and optimize our warehouse operations in Echt, Limburg. You’ll lead a team of 20–30 employees, coordinating daily activities, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

You will report to the Supervisor and contribute to workforce planning, KPI monitoring, and bottleneck resolution as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

MBO level education or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics.
Fluent in English.
Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
Strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain overview.
Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily warehouse activities on the floor.
Coach, guide and motivate team members and line leads.
Create daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing.
Monitor KPIs such as productivity and quality.
Identify bottlenecks and act quickly when needed.
Contribute to process improvements during the implementation phase.
Work in a dynamic environment where new customers may be added; role is varied and challenging.
