Job summary

QED Technologies Europe in Delft seeks a Software Engineer to join the Software & Controls team. You will develop robust software interfacing with high-precision machines and collaborate with our US parent company.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 3–5 years of software experience, and proficiency in C# with MVVM (WPF). The role offers hybrid work, strong growth, and a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience with C# (preferred) or Java.
• Experience with MVVM frameworks (e.g., WPF).
• Willingness to work with WinForms.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop robust software that enables customers to operate high-precision machines effectively.
• Work across the full software stack, with an initial focus on integrating existing systems into the QED platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands and the United States on architecture and implementation.
• Contribute to improving and extending the functionality of existing systems.
• Test and validate your software directly on machines in a hands-on environment.
