Job summary

QuTech at Delft University of Technology is seeking a Team Lead Electronics to guide a small electronics team in quantum instrumentation. You will lead, design, realize and support measurement electronics, while mentoring researchers and teaching an electronics course for our scientists.

The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership: setting directions, coordinating long-term projects, and representing the team within the organization. English required; Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience with a strong electronics background.
• Leadership experience managing a small technical team.
• Hands-on, analytical mindset with ability to plan high-level architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of three specialists and guide technical discussions.
• Design, realize and support measurement electronics for quantum labs.
• Translate research needs into electronics requirements and proposals.
• Create roadmaps and requirements for delivering electronics to labs.
• Teach and update an electronics course for researchers and supervise interns.
