Job summary

Spektrum seeks a Software Development Engineer in The Hague, Netherlands, to support SHAPE Gap Analysis ECPs and develop software for the ASIM Passive Sensor and Sensor Control systems. The role focuses on C/C++ in a Unix environment, with collaboration across a technical team and emphasis on engineering best practices.

Required are several years of Unix experience, strong C/C++ development skills, and Git version control, with on-site work and NATO Secret security clearance as a baseline

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SHAPE Gap Analysis Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
• Develop and modify software for the internal ASIM Passive Sensor and ASIM Sensor Control systems.
• Apply software engineering best practices.
• Perform software testing and maintain technical documentation.
• Use Git for source code version control.
• Collaborate with other software engineers and technical team members.
