Job summary

Amstel Hotel is seeking a proactive Groups & Events coordinator to manage all aspects of group and event planning, from initial details to flawless execution.

Join a luxury hospitality team in Amsterdam, coordinating site inspections, external/internal events, and proactive business development while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in Groups & Events role preferred.
• Must have a passion for luxury hospitality.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize all confirmed groups and events from first details to final execution.
• Welcome potential clients for site inspections and showcase the Amstel Hotel.
• Organize and coordinate both internal and external events.
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities within Groups & Events.
• Occasionally be present during events as the dedicated coordinator to ensure smooth execution.
• Work closely with Assistant Sales Managers to gather all necessary group and event details.
• Bring creativity and a hospitality mindset to every event you organize.

What is the role?

• Coordinate and organize all confirmed groups and events, from the first details to the final execution.
• Welcome potential clients for site inspections and showcase everything the Amstel Hotel has to offer.
• Organize and coordinate both internal and external events.
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities within Groups & Events.
• Occasionally be present during events as the dedicated coordinator, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our guests receive exceptional service.
• Work closely with our Assistant Sales Managers to gather all necessary group and event details.
• Bring your creativity and hospitality mindset to every event you organize.

Your profile

• A true team player who enjoys working together to create exceptional experiences.
• Have a passion for luxury hospitality.
• Have relevant experience in a similar Groups & Events position.
• Speak and write fluent Dutch and/or English.
• Experience with Delphi is a plus.
• Are familiar with luxury hospitality networks and have an eye for opportunities.
• Bring a positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
• Are creative and enjoy thinking outside the box.
• Have an eye for detail.
