Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead a senior team across Identity Fraud, Commercial Risk, and Platform Fraud. You’ll partner with Compliance and Operations to build data-driven defenses, combining business impact with technical excellence.

You will drive ML-enabled, auditable products and balance customer value, revenue, and cost across the platform. This is a leadership-driven, high-growth role based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including hands-on hiring and developing product managers.
• Analytical and metrics-driven with accountability of a P&L owner.
• Strong ML and data-driven product experience and ability to work with engineers on large-scale systems.
• Working knowledge of fraud, KYC/KYB, or financial crime; fintech/payments experience is a strong plus.

Fraud Intelligence protects Adyen from two kinds of bad actors: those who disguise who they are to gain access to the financial system, and those who set out to cause financial loss for Adyen or our customers.

We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to lead a senior team of product managers across Identity Fraud & KYC, Commercial Risk, and Platform Fraud. You’ll work hand in hand with our global Compliance and Operations teams to build a data-driven defense, from onboarding through every transaction. This is not a standard product role. We need a biztech leader with strong technical instincts who runs the domain like a high-growth business.

What You’ll Do

• Set the Vision: Own the strategy for how Adyen detects and stops identity fraud and platform fraud. Treat these capabilities like your own business, balancing customer value, revenue, and cost.
• Lead & Develop Senior Talent: Coach and grow a team of senior product managers who own their domains end to end.
• Partner Globally: Work closely with global Compliance and Operations teams to turn regulatory obligations into automated, auditable products. Bring a pragmatic commercial lens to how those obligations are met.
• Make the Hard Calls: Decide where ML and automation beat manual review, and drive alignment across Engineering, Commercial, Risk, and Operations without direct authority, even when that means saying “no”.

Who You Are

• Product Leader: 8+ years in product management, including hands-on experience hiring and developing product managers.
• Commercially Minded: Analytical and metrics-driven, with the accountability of a P&L owner.
• Technically Fluent: A solid grasp of ML and data-driven products, and the confidence to work with engineers on petabyte-scale systems.
• Grounded in the Space: A working knowledge of fraud, KYC/KYB, or financial crime. Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries is a strong plus.
• Influential Communicator: Clear and confident with technical, commercial, and executive audiences worldwide.
