Job summary

Spark Studio is seeking a Group Pilates Instructor to lead Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Barre and Sculpt classes. You will deliver high-energy sessions in a safe, inclusive studio environment and support member coaching and engagement.

Applicants should hold recognized Pilates certifications (Mat and/or Reformer), CPR/AED and First Aid, and have experience running group fitness or Pilates classes. This role offers a tax-free income with accommodation and attractive earning potential.

Qualifications

Recognized certification in Pilates instruction (Mat and/or Reformer).
CPR/AED and First Aid certification current.
Experience leading group fitness or Pilates classes.
Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, exercise technique, and injury prevention.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-energy group classes in Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Barre and Sculpt in accordance with programming standards.
Lead classes with clear instruction, demonstrations, and coaching cues to ensure proper technique.
Provide exercise modifications and progressions for varying fitness levels.
Monitor participants, offer guidance, and maintain class flow.
Ensure classes begin and end on schedule and foster a welcoming environment.
Build member relationships and support a strong studio community.
