Job summary

KNDS France seeks a senior Internal Controls professional to strengthen risk governance across European manufacturing operations. You will lead the design and assessment of control frameworks (COSO), work with ERP systems, and report to senior management.

The role requires extensive experience in internal controls, strong communication skills in English, and willingness to travel roughly one-third of the time. French or German language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Internal Controls or comparable functions.
• Experience in an audit firm serving industrial clients or within an international manufacturing organisation.
• Strong knowledge of recognised Internal Control frameworks (eg COSO).
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes in manufacturing environments, with preference for defence-industry exposure.
• Familiarity with IT General Controls and Application Controls; ERP systems experience beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (C2); French and/or German an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (about one-third of the time).

Job description

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Internal Controls or comparable functions (e.g. risk management, compliance, internal or external audit), gained either within an audit firm serving industrial clients or within an international manufacturing organisation.

• Strong knowledge of recognised Internal Control frameworks, such as COSO
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes, including reporting, compliance and operational processes within manufacturing environments; experience in the defence industry is highly desirable
• Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and Application Controls, as well as practical experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C2 level); proficiency in French and/or German would be an advantage
• Proven experience in engaging with senior management and supervisory bodies
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately one-third of the time), primarily within a European context.
