Job summary

Dümmen Orange EU is seeking a Greenhouse Assistant Phytopathology to execute phytopathology protocols and maintain Phytopathology facilities at our Breeding Technology Centre in De Lier, Netherlands. You will support the phytopathology team and contribute to innovative, high‑quality plant research for global customers.

Responsibilities include inoculation and maintenance of bioassays, facility coordination with the technical team, and IPM program support.

Qualifications

• HBO degree in plant science or biology.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Valid crop protection spray license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing phytopathology bioassays by inoculation, maintenance and scoring.
• Lead in smooth running of facilities by frequent collaboration with technical team and third parties.
• Support Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
