Job summary

TNO in the Netherlands invites MSc students to contribute to the modelling and experimental study of green CO formation from CO2 and H2 using light. You will work at the interface of materials science, transport phenomena, and reactor design, under expert supervision.

The internship lasts at least six months, with extension possible. You will gain hands-on experience with COMSOL Multiphysics and compare simulations to field data from Interreg Foton, while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

  • MSc student in Chemical Engineering with interest in transport phenomena.
  • Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics is a major advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English for presenting work and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform experimental and modelling study on green CO formation from CO2 and H2 using light.
  • Improve and validate COMSOL model with field data from Interreg Foton.
  • Collaborate with team on energy materials and reactor design.
