During this graduation internship at Rabobank, you will work on a strategic portfolio management challenge within Credit Risk. You will help analyse risks, trends and developments within Rabobank's business lending portfolio and translate these into actionable insights.

Your graduation assignment will focus on data-driven decision making, portfolio analysis and future-oriented risk management. We are particularly interested in students who are enthusiastic about how artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and predictive models can support better risk assessments and portfolio steering. You will explore how data and technology can help us identify developments earlier, improve portfolio insights and support credit-related decision making.

And then? This internship gives you a unique opportunity to gain experience in a highly visible part of the bank, build a strong professional network and develop expertise in risk management, data analysis and AI-driven innovation. Previous interns have successfully progressed into starter positions and traineeships within Rabobank.

Your internship experience

This is not a traditional research internship where your work disappears into a drawer. You will work on real business challenges that matter to Rabobank.

You will be part of a department that acts as the eyes and ears of senior risk management and helps maintain a healthy risk profile across the lending portfolio. The team continuously analyses portfolio developments, reviews policy changes, monitors emerging risks and advises stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Together with experienced professionals, data analysts and risk specialists, you will translate analytical findings into practical recommendations. You will learn how portfolio decisions are made, how risk appetite is monitored and how data, technology and human judgement come together in modern risk management.

You will receive intensive guidance while maintaining plenty of freedom to shape your own research direction. Along the way, you will build a valuable network and gain exposure to various teams and stakeholders across Rabobank.
