GASSAN Diamonds B.V. is looking for an enthusiastic goldsmith

We are looking for you! That is, if you are the enthusiastic goldsmith we are looking for. Do you share our passion for diamonds, high-end jewellery and luxury watches? Would you like to become part of an enthusiastic and professional team? Then you could be our new colleague!

GASSAN is the official dealer of more than 20 of the world’s most prestigious jewellery brands and more than 60 of the world’s most exclusive watch brands. As a family-owned company, we are proud of our rich history and craftsmanship. We offer an inspiring, dynamic and commercially driven working environment where quality and service are at the heart of everything we do.

The GASSAN Diamonds workshop is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled goldsmith. A recognised goldsmith qualification is required. Our workshop is a dynamic department within GASSAN. We have a modern and spacious workshop equipped with a laser, various computer-controlled engraving machines, 3D CAD design software and a GRS stone-setting bench. In our workshop, we turn our customers’ wishes into reality — from resizing and repairing existing jewellery to creating unique new designs and setting beautiful diamonds.

We are looking for a goldsmith who:

• Enjoys working in an inspiring environment and has a creative mindset;
• Holds a recognised goldsmith qualification;
• Is available full-time or part-time, for a minimum of 4 days per week;
• Can work both independently and as part of a team;
• Is able to work well under pressure and is precise and customer-oriented;
• Is willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;
• Has a good command of Dutch and a basic knowledge of English.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resizing and setting sold jewellery;
• Repairing and restoring customers’ jewellery;
• Creating new jewellery and setting diamonds for our customers;
• Advising and supporting the sales team in the showroom;
• Polishing and cleaning jewellery on location, for example during trade shows, to showcase our craftsmanship and expertise.

What do we offer?

You will have a varied and challenging position within an enthusiastic team of approximately 12 goldsmiths. We work closely together, support each other whenever needed and value a pleasant working atmosphere.

In addition to working in our workshop, you will also work at other GASSAN locations in Amsterdam. This means that no two days are the same and gives you plenty of opportunities to apply your craftsmanship in different environments.

GASSAN offers you an enthusiastic team of friendly and professional colleagues, an inspiring working environment and excellent employment conditions.
