Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in the Netherlands is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support multiple production lines under GMP. You will work in a centralized manufacturing team to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing, MBO level, and strong English, with collaboration across operators, technicians and line leads. You will follow SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Contract runs for 7 months with a 3‑shift rotation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, GMP, or GDP environments preferred.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience working in multicultural teams.
• Understanding of continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines according to established operating procedures.
• Support automated, semi-automated, and manual manufacturing processes.
• Follow GMP and standard work practices in daily operations.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and line leads to achieve production goals.
• Support shift handovers and ensure accurate communication between teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate line lead when necessary.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and production outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all required training and certification deadlines.
• Support manufacturing activities across different production lines as needed.
• Contribute to safety, quality, delivery, inventory and performance objectives.

Education

MBO Level 2 or equivalent vocational education
