Job summary

ING in Amsterdam seeks a Network Engineer for the Global WAN Infrastructure squad. You will design, implement and operate GWAN services, collaborating with international consumers and the external network supplier to ensure uptime, performance and security.

You'll participate in agile ceremonies, maintain reports, and guide the squad toward common goals. The role requires hands-on network experience, CCNP level, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, configuring and changing network infrastructure.
• Develop and challenge network designs focusing on security and implementation aspects.
• Pro-active, English language proficiency in verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate ING's GWAN services.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and squad in agile ceremonies.
• Report and guide the squad to improve services and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the Network Service Provider to ensure availability and performance.
