Job summary

AWL in the Netherlands is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, international multidisciplinary projects in a high-tech environment. You will drive strategy, planning, and execution across Mechanical Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Robotics, coordinating global teams to meet customer goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Industrial Automation, or Mechanical Engineering, and a willingness to travel about 10–15% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level working and thinking ability, with degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Industrial Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or similar (required).
• Willing to travel and work abroad ~10–15% of time.
• Owns projects, maintains clear overview, sets priorities, and delivers results in a complex environment.
• Strong relationship builder who can influence and guide others to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Successfully manage and deliver multiple projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Motivate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Mechanical Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Robotics.
• Proactively manage contracts to ensure clear, transparent, and verifiable agreements.
• Manage technical and financial risks of projects and coordinate closely with the customer.
