Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Tax Officer to.prepare, review, and coordinate tax filings in collaboration with external advisors within a highly international and technical environment. The role supports corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other tax matters across an international organisation.

The successful candidate will contribute to improving tax compliance processes and tax reporting for finance teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience within a tax-focused role.
• Experience in international or multinational environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate tax filings in cooperation with external advisors.
• Support corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other tax-related matters.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to improvement and optimisation of tax compliance processes.
• Support finance teams with tax calculations and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate requests for tax certificates and related documentation.
• Prepare and review internal management reports.
• Assist in managing tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.
• Support the resolution of ad hoc tax queries and projects.
