Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Global Supply Planner to manage short‑term supply planning and control the flow of products globally between manufacturing sites and distribution centers. The role requires collaboration with supply sites, brand operation managers, ECM, QA, finance, distribution, and affiliates.

The GSP drives continuous improvements, anticipates risks, and ensures timely supply for patients while maintaining optimal inventory levels across the network.

Qualifications

• Degree in operations, supply chain or business management.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and results focus.
• Team player with drive for improvement and persistence.

Responsibilities

• Daily contact with supply plants to coordinate finished product, bulk, APIs or materials.
• Ensure SAP and JDA are up to date and inform customers of supply updates and risks.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Support data for plant meetings to review performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvements and participate in initiatives.
• Execute financial processes including hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping.
• Support artwork changes by coordinating related supply activity.
• Offer ideas to maximize opportunities and address challenges in Global Supply Planning.
• Support S&OE process through root-cause analysis and problem solving.
