Job summary

MIMETAS is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Manager for our Enschede production site. You will coordinate purchasing, inventory, warehousing, order processing, and international logistics to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing and customer products.

You will work with Production, Finance, Sales, Quality, suppliers, and logistics partners across Enschede and Leiden. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in a related field, 3+ years in supply chain or procurement, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in SCM, Logistics, BA, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in supply chain coordination, procurement, or logistics.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory management, order processing, warehousing, and logistics.
• Familiar with international shipping, import/export, customs docs, and tax processes.
• Strategic thinking with hands-on approach; manage daily ops and longer-term improvements.
• Strong analytical skills; monitor costs, budgets, stock, forecasts, and performance.
• Advanced Excel and SAP or similar ERP; reporting/data-visualization is a plus.
• Proactive, organized, accurate; manage multiple priorities and own results.
• Excellent communication; collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and logistics partners; English required; Dutch a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain: purchasing, inventory, warehousing, order processing, logistics.
• Coordinate import/export, customs, shipping, and tax processes with partners.
• Translate forecasts into purchasing and logistics requirements across locations.
• Support sales and financial admin: purchase/sales orders, invoices, budgeting.
• Develop strategic sourcing; manage suppliers and cost improvements.
• Monitor supply chain performance, costs, stock, lead times, supplier scores.
• Standardize processes, systems, controls, and reporting for efficiency and resilience.
