Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a visionary VP, Global Service Operations & Excellence to shape the operating model for safe, scalable service delivery across our global fleet of energy storage assets. Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Services and Digital, you will lead governance, platform strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Customer Success, and IT to maximize customer outcomes.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in services operations, operational excellence, or technology-enabled service organizations.
Proven track record scaling operating models to improve productivity and customer outcomes.
Experience leading digital transformation with workflow automation, AI-enabled technologies, and enterprise platforms.
Strong governance, performance management, and workforce capability development.
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Supply Chain, IT, and regional leaders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the global operational infrastructure backbone with governance and ITIL standards.
Lead continuous improvement using automation, analytics, and AI.
Define and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
Oversee security, IT/OT governance and risk management across regions.
Provide leadership for Service Platforms development and data-driven operations.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align capabilities.
Foster a One Fluence operating model and scalable service delivery.
