Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Amsterdam seeks a Global Sales Analytics & Project Lead to head a team of business managers and analysts, combining data, commercial excellence and digital enablement to drive worldwide sales decisions.

You will centralize dashboards, govern pricing, and deliver end-to-end P&L visibility across markets, partnering with Sales, Marketing and Finance to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics or data roles, with at least 1–2 years of team or project leadership in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate analytical insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and building scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align diverse teams around common data strategies.
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and comfort stepping into new analytical territories.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 managers and 2 analysts, fostering a collaborative, curious, and delivery-focused mindset.
  • Run and continuously improve pricing governance across the business.
  • Own the centralization of dashboards and reporting, ensuring consistency in data, definitions, and tools across global and local teams.
  • Act as the primary interface with key functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and RGM, aligning on business questions, data needs, and output formats.
  • Deliver full customer P&L visibility by combining internal and external data, in close collaboration with Finance and Marketing.
  • Support customer teams in strategic projects and negotiations with data-backed insights, including monthly performance scorecards and joint business planning tools.
  • Prioritize incoming requests and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring focus on high‑value work while avoiding duplication or inefficiencies.
  • Ensure data quality, harmonization, and governance, and lead the team in building scalable and reliable data solutions.
  • Guide the team through complex analytical projects, such as assortment optimization using store‑level data.
  • Champion the role of analytics in business transformation by continuously identifying new opportunities where insights can add value.

Job description

The position of Global Sales Analytics & Project Lead sits within the Global Sales team at our International Headquarters in Amsterdam. You will join the Global Sales Analytics team, part of a broader Global Sales organization of more than 40 colleagues across five disciplines: International Customers, Category Management, Direct-to-Consumer, Field Sales, and Sales Analytics.

In this role, you will lead a team of business managers and analysts at the intersection of data, commercial excellence, and digital enablement. Your mission is to centralize, streamline, and scale our global sales analytics capabilities, ensuring the organization works from a single version of the truth and enabling better commercial decision-making across markets.

You will play a key role in optimizing global sales processes such as pricing governance, analytics automation, dashboarding, and data governance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable business insights that drive customer impact and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 managers and 2 analysts, fostering a collaborative, curious, and delivery-focused mindset.
