Job summary

PetroChina International in Rotterdam seeks a commercially minded Rubber Trader to drive trading of SBR/BR/SBR, expand market share across Europe, Africa and Turkey, and build long-term customer relationships.

You will report to the General Manager of Petrochemical, lead across international markets, negotiate contracts, manage risk, and explore opportunities in the C4 value chain with relocation and visa sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in sales, trading or business development within synthetic rubber or elastomers.
• Deep knowledge of SBR, BR, NR, SBS and related products.
• Proven track record in international import/export trading.
• Strong understanding of European, African and Turkish rubber markets.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, International Trade or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing, trading and business development of rubber products worldwide.
• Drive sales volumes, margins and market share in Europe, Africa and Turkey.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors and manufacturers.
• Identify new channels to expand PetroChina's market presence.
• Negotiate contracts, set pricing and manage orders and delivery.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with China HQ to align commercial strategies.
