Job summary

PetroChina International in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a commercially minded Rubber Trader to lead marketing, trading and business development of synthetic and natural rubber products across international markets. You will drive volumes, margins and market share while building long-term customer relationships.

The role focuses on SBR, BR, SSBR, SBS and related elastomers, with Europe, Africa, and Turkey as key regions, and involves travel and cross-functional collaboration across global

Qualifications

• Significant experience in sales, trading or business development within synthetic rubber, elastomers, polymers.
• Knowledge of SBR, BR, NBR, SBS and related synthetic rubber products.
• Experience in international import/export trading environments.
• Understanding of European, African and Turkish rubber markets.
• Familiarity with tyre, automotive and industrial rubber sectors.
• Understanding of price risk management and hedging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the marketing, trading and business development of synthetic and natural rubber products across international markets.
• Drive sales volumes, profitability and market share growth across Europe, Africa, Turkey and other markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, converters, and tyre manufacturers.
• Identify and develop new customer channels to expand PetroChina's market presence.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure efficient product delivery and service.
