This is a new position within JET's Global Public Affairs Policy team, created to strengthen our capacity to build data-driven narratives and translate them into effective public policy campaigns.
You will work at the intersection of policy, data and storytelling, taking the economic, social and digital evidence generated across JET's business and turning it into compelling positions that resonate with EU institutions, national governments, and broader stakeholders. Working closely with the Head of Public Affairs Policy, you will support local market teams with global position papers, messaging frameworks and campaign materials, and help JET develop its profile on AI and digital policy.
You will also coordinate Public Affairs Centre of Excellence operations, driving campaign planning and delivery routines across priority policy topics and markets. This includes maintaining stakeholder maps, issue trackers, briefing calendars and reporting packs, monitoring policy and regulatory developments relevant to active campaigns, and coordinating inputs from Legal, Corporate Communications, Marketing and market teams. You will prepare first drafts of briefings, submissions, campaign materials and talking points for senior review, and contribute to improving public affairs operating processes and knowledge management across the function.
These are some of the key components to the position:
What will you bring to the team?
Substantial background in public affairs, public policy, or government relations, gained in-house, at a PA agency, within an EU institution, or in government.
Proven ability to craft high-quality policy narratives, position papers, briefings, and public-facing campaign collateral.
Strong aptitude for working with data and evidence, comfortably translating technical topics into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
Solid understanding of EU institutions, legislative procedures, and broader policy-making processes.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
Excellent project management and organisation skills, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and stakeholder priorities across global markets.
Subject-matter experience or keen interest in platform economy files, gig economy regulations, labour markets, or digital/AI policy.
Collaborative mindset focused on building strong working relationships with data, research, legal, and commercial partners.
Resilient, proactive attitude with an appetite for fast-paced, high-growth, and matrixed international environments.
