Job summary

Siemens Nederland N.V. in The Hague seeks a Project Buyer to drive procurement for international datacenter projects across Europe and Asia.

You will handle transformers, UPS systems, control cabinets, and related on-site services, collaborating with engineering, sales, and project management in a fast-paced, multicultural team. Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of project procurement experience
• At least 3 years procuring technical equipment
• Familiarity with international contracts
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Execute complex end-to-end procurement RFQs for technical equipment (Transformers, UPS, cabinets)
• Lead and coordinate RFQs and total cost of ownership comparisons
• Negotiate contracts and secure price agreements with suppliers
• Lead supplier selection and document contract awards
• Support claim management and escalation procedures with suppliers
• Build and manage an international supplier network and coordinate RFQs
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and sustainability initiatives
• Identify and realize cost savings and efficiency gains
