This customer-centric business is keen to maximise the value of strategic procurement in order to deliver maximum value for consumers globally. You will be in charge of creating transportation procurement processes across the global logistics business, introducing new technologies and tools and working within the world-class strategic procurement team. The primary mission of this role is to ensure successful customer journeys and to create top line value.
The ideal applicant will have expert logistics knowledge and strategic sourcing/category management experience within the logistics category, with specific expertise in transportation. The role will see you work with a broad range of stakeholders across various business units, so strong influencing and communication skills are essential. The business is growing rapidly so somebody with a keen interest in continuous improvement, utilizing procurement for growth and driving both change and sustainability would be an ideal candidate for this exciting position.
