Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Senior Network Systems Engineer to join the Global Network Services team. You will own complex, end-to-end routing, SD-WAN, and campus networking across a global environment, aligning with cloud-first and automation-led objectives.

The role emphasizes senior technical ownership, mentorship, and cross-regional collaboration. You will help modernise operations through codified engineering while driving strategic network projects, changes, and incident resolution in a hybrid,

Qualifications

8+ years in enterprise network engineering/operations.
Deep hands-on Cisco SD-WAN (Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela) experience.
Expertise in enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF) and policy-based routing.
Proven delivery of complex network projects at multi-site scale.
Strong campus LAN/WAN networking knowledge and troubleshooting.
Experience using automation to improve network operations (Python/Ansible/Terraform).
Excellent communication and collaboration across regions and teams.

Responsibilities

Own global routing design, implementation, and operations across internet edge, WAN, and inter-site links.
Manage Cisco SD-WAN deployment, templates, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
Lead campus networking across office, lab, and manufacturing sites.
Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents and drive RCAs.
Lead new-site builds, migrations, and network design changes with vendors.
Maintain health through monitoring, telemetry, and change control.
