Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security & Network Engineer to join a global IT infrastructure team on a 12-month contract in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. You will implement, maintain and enhance enterprise network and security infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on Cisco technologies, security controls, automation, and collaboration with security, infrastructure and cloud teams to keep global network services secure,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience in infrastructure, networking or security.
• Experience with Cisco technologies including ISE and ASA/FTD.
• Experience with AWS and cloud security.
• Automation via Python or Shell scripting.
• SIEM tools like Splunk and vulnerability tools like Nessus.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and AAA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network and security infrastructure.
• Configure Cisco security technologies including firewalls and NAC solutions.
• Implement Cisco ISE with 802.1X and network authentication.
• Monitor controls, investigate issues and escalate risks.
• Manage security products across global environments.
• Identify opportunities to automate using scripting and orchestration.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure and security services.
• Perform network troubleshooting with packet captures and traffic analysis.
• Review security systems for improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams and share knowledge.
