Job summary

Stafide in Amsterdam seeks an seasoned Enterprise Network Engineer for a six-month project engagement on-site. You will design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN, while coordinating with infrastructure and security teams.

Responsibilities include configuring routers/switches/firewalls, monitoring performance, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance across Azure and AWS hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise networking or related IT infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing, and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions.
• Practical knowledge of network security technologies, including NAC, IDS/IPS, access control, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud networking across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of data center networking, network architecture, and enterprise connectivity.
• Experience in network monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of network migrations, upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with security compliance requirements and enterprise infrastructure documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise network architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues.
• Identify network performance bottlenecks and implement optimization measures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex network incidents and recommend preventive solutions.
• Implement network security controls and access management practices in line with organizational standards.
• Support secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, and data centers.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure changes with minimal operational disruption.
• Collaborate effectively with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and communicate technical issues and solutions clearly.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, infrastructure resilience, and continuous service improvement.
