Job summary

Nutreco, an SHV company, seeks a Business Application Specialist (LIMS) to own and optimize LabVantage LIMS globally. You will ensure system stability, data integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration across IT and laboratories.

With 5+ years in software or system support and a strong Java/SQL background, you’ll translate complex requirements into practical solutions and help expand LIMS into new markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development, IT systems management, or business application support.
• Strong Java and SQL development background; experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for LabVantage LIMS.
• Gather business needs and translate them into technical specifications with stakeholders.
• Assist with development, testing, and integration of software solutions with the LIMS vendor.
• Ensure data integrity and database management (SQL).
• Provide user training and support to drive system adoption.
• Support expansion of LIMS into new countries and integration with other systems.
• Collaborate with labs, IT, and business teams to improve performance and usability.
